So, I started playing around with some Scoubidou strings that have been sitting around forever.

I was picturing lots of flat little bugle-bead type pieces, but the strings had other ideas.

Maybe it could work though?

Not the best modelling shot ever, and the necklace isn’t complete, but it gives a rough idea of the concept.

I can’t decide whether it looks like a necklace, a mad centipede, or just a big mess. It isn’t as scratchy as I thought and I need to finish it off properly. Then maybe I’ll make more. Hmm. I wonder if you can crochet with this stuff?
