For today’s daily make I wanted to experiment with using loop stitch to make something crysanthemum-like. I dug out my Encyclopedia of Crochet Techniques for a brush-up on the technique.

And from the back. The sepals are done with picot stitch.

Next time I will start with a yellow centre. I tried to surface crochet some contrasting loops in the centre, but it was too much like hard work for what is supposed to be a quick crochet doodle.
