I’ve finished the travelling monster made from Nimakim‘s leftover bits. Her name is Braciaca, which seems appropriate for an autumnal forest spirit. She’s Nimakim’s cousin.
Here’s the head and body I had left over from making Nimakim. There was also a foot.
I ran out of the gold eyelash yarn, so I had to blend in the multicoloured red, gold and grey.
Back view showing the blending from the back.
Blending is done with surface crochet. Eyelash yarn hides a multitude of yarncraft sins!
Detail of her head, ears, face, and paw.
Catching some autumn sunshine.
She’ll be heading out as soon as I can find somebody who wants to take her. In the meantime, it’s inspired me to use other sample bits I have lying around to make more monsters!
