One of my goals for NineWorlds was to make and hide a travelling monster and tweet clues for people to find it. I managed to get Jumping Jack finished by the Sunday morning, thanks to crocheting in panels, talks, the bar, and in the friendly and relaxing social crafting sessions.
My inspiration for Jumping Jack – these brilliant bag ties from the Aldi random stuff aisle.
He’s a little more wonky than some due to being crocheted while extremely zonked or slightly tipsy.
Needed to sew on his label, but all my sharp needles went missing. Nineworlds info desk to the rescue!
He turned out oddly 70’s for some reason.
Forgot my tags while packing. (There’s always something). Info desk to the rescue again!
Jack hiding out and waiting for a new friend to come and find him.
Folks tell me he disappeared from his hiding place, so I am hoping he has made a new friend!
I also made cosplay for the con, but need to get a few spoons back before I blog about that.
